This entire post is devoted to one of my new favorite people, Ryan Hollingsworth. And before I forget, give him lots of love today and check in with him by clicking here.
I’m proud of him and encouraged by him at the same time. He’s the designer behind most of the great designs you see come out of Elevation. He’s a great Young Life leader. And he’s got a great heart for people. I mean, who cares that he and I have radically different tastes when it comes to TV shows. Actually, that’s not even true, we like most of the same shows, but he’s ashamed of me for liking The Hills (that’s right, I’ll stand behind that–you don’t think Jesus loves super-rich-never-really-had-to-work-for-much kind of people too?).
What I’m impressed by most is his willingness to want to be better. For example, he asked me a question today about what I thought of his design skills. I think he’s a great designer, but I also think he can get a lot better. And loser-y people might hear that and get all weird about it, but I felt like when I gave him honest feedback, he was sincerely interested (and by interested I mean he continued to surf the web while I was talking to him…which is true, but he really was interested, I think).
I’m proud of you Ryan. Keep up the great work. God is using you to do much more than you realize. I’m glad you work for me and you have to do everything I tell you to do.

[...] 4,000 28 11 2007 so this week I hit 4,000 views all time for my blog. I realize that’s not very many, considering I’ve had this thing for a year and half… and it probably means one of the two things: a) my mom looks at my blog 7 times a day. b) bored people click on the links from this guy, this guy, or this guy.
